Can I make changes to the registration of my samples after I've completed the registration?
No. Registration acts as an electronic chain of custody for the laboratory receiving the samples. Neither the client, MMD, nor the laboratory can make changes to the chain of custody once the information has been submitted and a confirmation number is generated. If you did make an error in the registration of your samples, a new registration will need to be completed. Please call MMD’s office immediately and prior to completing a new registration of your samples. MMD will need the old and new confirmation numbers in order to redirect the laboratory on the analysis of the samples. If the laboratory has not already received the samples, the original laboratory fees can be refunded. If the laboratory has already received or analyzed your samples, no changes can be made. For this reason, we strongly recommend double-checking the information entered during the registration process prior to finalizing.
